Terrible Service

Products are wonderful. However, their service is only one star out of 5. One shoe I ordered runs so small I returned it, however, they never refunded or tracked this refund package. I liked the product quality so much, i went against my better judgment and ordered again. They send the wrong size and now I can not get ahold of anyone. Lost my business.

Talbot's Outlet Misleading Sale E-Mails

I just want to say that I shop at Talbot's Outlet about twice a month but recently I have been very disappointed after receiving an email of a sale and when I get to the store they have the same old winter leftovers on sale when they advertise new Spring arrivals on sale. I wish there was a website for Talbots Outlet with the prices listed so I could avoid a long trip to the Outlet. Otherwise, I like the clothing but I feel the prices are very high and there are not enough coordinating fashions.

Poor Customer Service

I called 2 phone numbers when half of my order was missing, they hang up on you because they are too busy. I paid for premium shipping too.

THIEVES

Absolutely horrendous service. Ordered a gift from Talbots for Mothers Day. There is a store 1 hour from the Canadian delivery location in Vancouver, but yet they have to ship across the border from Knoxville, Tennessee or something?! Paid $35 for express shipping which states 2 day delivery on the website. 3 weeks later, the parcel has still not been picked up from the warehouse by the courier. I email them every day for an update. Absolutely awful, very high end gift was purchased and would expect they would have some respect for a customer spending a lot of money with them. Basically do not shop online with these people, they take your money and give nothing in return.

Horrendous delays in shipping, horrid customer service

I have shopped at Talbots for over 20 years. Never again. I placed and order on line for unstuck merchandise 2 weeks ago. Have received a different totally bogus story from them every time I call looking for my order. For whatever reason my order stayed in Massachusetts at the same Fedex Warehouse for over a week. No explanation. When I called 3 days ago, I was told that the package was being transferred to USPS that day. 3 days later I called my post office, no handoff from Fedex. I called back today, got the snottiest supervisor in the history of customer service who told me that now my package is showing on a FEDEX truck, but still will not be delivered for several days. I had decided never to order on line again, now I have decided that I will simply not shop at Talbots ever. I work Internationally, so I spend about $8000 a year on clothing. You can bet that I will never spend another dollar at Talbots. They do not deserve anyone's business.

Missed cutoff payment by 1 hour due to time zone and was charged $25 late fee.

I missed the cut off payment by one hour due to time zone change and was charged a $25 late fee. I called customer service when I receive my statement and noticed I was charged a late fee but they refused to remove the late fee. I think this is very poor customer service…. No leeway at all.

Dissatisfied Service

I called today to talk to someone about my account. Not one time in all of the options did they say speak to
An account person. Why can't they include in one of the options the ability to speak to someone. It was very frustrating. It really is a waste of the customer's time to have to get it across to someone that you want to speak to a service representative.

Crew neck sweaters

I am very disappointed with the quality of the crew neck sweaters that I have purchased. They pill and they lose their shape after only one washing. Several years ago the sweaters I purchased were a much better quality. I still have some of these sweaters and they have retained their appearance over several years.

my wife sent payment 10 days before the…

my wife sent payment 10 days before the bill was due
and they cashed a day after the late fee went in effect and naturally they charged $27.00 late fee and $2.27 interest on top of it. I talked to those B.S. customer care and no way I can reason with them they want payment no matter what. I just want to warn everybody about my situation so nobody can get in the same situation and I am going to call the better business bureau if there are more complaints

Not the same quality as in the past

Bummed about some of the clothing being really thin- hello cashmere sweaters I'm looking at you- but the quality of the shoes is exceptional-

Left my 87 year old mother in tears

brought my 87 year old mother to tears. After being harassed about in order they mishandled, I stepped in. Not only have they Completely mishandled an order but after 5 hours on the phone with different customer service representatives and being on hold. They are no longer answering their phones due to a promotion. They are even unable to do live chat. Unless you enjoy headaches, I would recommend never doing business with this company.
The quality of their clothing used to be great but is now simply pathetic. I wouldn't buy it at Good Will for 50 cents. Combine that with customer service That makes your cable company look Fantastic and you have a company that will surely be out of business soon.
Save yourself a headache and shop elsewhere.

I am so disappointed in Talbots

I am so disappointed in Talbots.
For decades, it was my go-to for the foundation of my wardrobe. Tshirts, shirts, sweaters, coats, There are many days that I look down, and everything I am wearing is a Talbots piece.
BUT! The last 5 or so years, it has taken a Nose dive.
Quality is down (not the prices down to match!)
And now-- the previously Excellent Customer Service has been seriously down graded.
I see that someone else has a problem with the Comentity Bank that is their charge system. I was so
let down that I have switched completely to my own Banking, and dropped theirs.
Gone is the Quality experience, with the Quality Service. No longer can I count on them.
So very Sad, watching a great Brand lose its Customer Base.
